Erika has a long history of working to increase equitable access, support the Blue-Green Economy, and stimulate community wealth. In addition to her work with CAD, she serves as Chair of Hyde Park Art Center, is President of Urban Growers Collective, and is a Board member of Green Era Sustainability. She is a former Interpreter-in-Residence at the Smart Museum of Art. Her work as an active committee member focuses on issues surrounding education, community accountability, development, anti-racism, and equity. Erika is a historian, artist, community organizer, and chef—with a particular interest in the intersection of humanities, access, and food.
