New Voices on Studs empowers teens to use their creative talents and 21st  Century skills to create art and media inspired by the work of Studs Terkel.  Join us for the opening exhibit and community events for New Voices on the Studs Terkel Radio Archive, an art and digital media experience created by teens from YOUmedia, ChiArts, and Convergence Academies.

New Voices on Studs: Educator Mix and Make
Tuesday, September 15
A mixer and workshop for educators, and debut of the New Voices on Studs Classroom Curriculum.
5:30-8 p.m.

Studs ‘n Conversation Sunday, September 20
A cool chat with New Voices teen artists, Studs Terkel archivists, and those who knew the man himself, along with musical performances by ChiArts students.
4-6 p.m.

FLOW: Studs Edition Wednesday, September 23 A special edition of YOUmedia’s weekly teen open mic w/ guest hosts Ike Nwoye and Kai Wright.
6-8 p.m.
