Through the Looking Glass

Through the Looking Glass is a group show of four interdisciplinary artists. Margarita Fainshtein, Sara Ludy, Galina Schevchenko, and Valerie Xanos create audio and video installations that intersect at the point of the transformative journey. The works explore sublime visions of transformation, enticing the visitor through metaphorical portals to examine their bodies in perceptual and phenomenological relationships with shifting sensual experiences. Memory, time, and meditation all play their part as we pass through the looking glass into immersive worlds evocative of visceral, primordial, and intimate connections. This show is curated by CAD Resident Artist, Valerie Xanos.
