CAD Screen Printing Class with STA & Friends – 05/7 and 05/8
The Chicago Art Department invites you to join members of the Society of Typographic Arts to take part in a two day screen printing class! It’s okay if you are a beginner, intermediate, or the rusty professional looking to get back into the swing of things.
We will take you through the entire process of screen printing. Teaching you how to set up your artwork, expose your screens, mix your inks, and ultimately create a 19×25 two color screen print with an edition of 20.
In addition to the classes, there will be 8 additional open studio sessions for 4 weeks following the class (held Tuesday & Thursday evenings). This will allow you to fine tune your skills and continue the process at your leisure with fresh inspiration.
