“Caracoleando – Poemas Naturales” is an initiative that extends from the successful Summer 2023 workshop program. Inspired by Caracol Gathering Space within the Burnham Wildlife Corridor along Chicago’s lakefront, this project has become a nurturing ground for bilingual (Spanish/English) poets. The poets have embarked on a journey to intertwine their creative expressions with the rhythms of nature and ecology.

At this event, we’re thrilled to unveil the bilingual publication of Caracoleando: Poemas Naturales, accompanied by readings from some of the talented authors involved and joined by community printmaking artists to further enrich cultural and ecological narratives.
