Chadwick started painting as a live performance artist. The buzz that followed allowed him to turn live Show Enhancer (and on the road ) with such notable musicians at Chicago Afrobeat Project, London’s Lady Sovereign, and Chicago’s own hiphop favorites, the Cool Kids. He has even demonstrated his tribal/urban themes in large outside mediums, such as being commissioned to paint a car live at Lollapalooza and a Fiat 500 at the Chicago Auto Show.

He formed the group The Vibe Providers with DJ Madrid, a collaboration of music and live painting that creates a vibrant aesthetic in almost every venue-type with an eclectic music pallet and raw paint. In this context, Chadwick paints with a frenzy, yet rhythmically to Madrid’s beats, bringing originality and energy thru maps of color, expression, and an enriched vibe. They have worked for a wide range of audiences, from club settings to conventions for companies like PepsiCo and McCane Inc.

Musically, Chadwick also helped found the music collective known as The Streets on Fire, who have not only captured the hearts of Chicago’s music scene, but have recently played CMJ Fest in NYC and the famed SXSW Festival in Austin, TX in March, where many young bands find their jumping point to national attention. Along with Yuri Alexander, Gabriel Palomo, and Scott Van Buren, their sound is down and dirty dance rock with a retro-aesthetic that keeps the dance floor hot.
