Group 312 Films – Open ScreeningDec 7 – 7PM
Chicago Art Department is hosting Group 312 Films and their current screening on the theme “Secret Creatures”. This screening is free and open to the public – anyone interested is encouraged to attend, show work or create a video related to this month’s topic.
Group 312 Films is a collective of artists and filmmakers who create one short a month – every month. A variety of themes are explored from narrative, poetic, experimental and music videos within the thematic context of the monthly topic. The films are generally 3 minutes to 20 minutes in length. All approaches are welcome.
The primary goal of Group 312 Films has been to create an exciting environment for local artists, filmmakers, musicians and media professionals to grow and share while learning, inspiring and motivating through the collective environment. More than anything this a social event – come by, hang out, watch films, and vote on the next topic.
The “Technologic” exhibit will be open for viewing during the screening.
