LEAVING EXPRESSION FRIDAY JULY 19th, 6-9pm

Come and take a walk through flowers and art through works done by Melissa Bradley at the Chicago Art Department Main Art Gallery.  Melissa’s artwork features an emotional emphasis on color, shape, and texture of floral art.  The show will present unique takes on how flowers are perceived, asking viewers to question everyday perceptions. Food and drinks will be provided, and the artist will be present to meet and greet.

Melissa has been a CAD resident artist for 2 years, developing her studio practice around floral explorations alongside her studies as a graduate librarian student. Melissa is interested in representation of nature and the observations of our natural environment. Leaving Expression will be Melissa’s first solo exhibition.
