The works on display are about the mind’s sudden abandonment of a familiar world or object, a phenomenon where the every day is seemingly strange and extraordinary, sometimes referred to as jamais vu: like a symbol becoming an object or a word a mere sound, a strangeness that overwhelms the mind.
