“A Tribe Love Tapedek Supreme” is a mash-up of John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme” with A Tribe Called Quest and other hip-hop goodies. Chris’ own music often combined jazz, soul, funk and hip hop. He was old school in that way and that’s where we connected. “A Love Supreme” is perhaps my favorite jazz album of all time.
