Recalentada
Opening February 5
6-10pm

Recalentada Collective consists of artists, writers, educators, researchers, who prioritize immigration issues as part of their everyday life. Through conversation and sharing, they have been engaging in vulnerable histories, collective memory and intimate knowledge exchange. By connecting through food, they hope to challenge issues of displacement, borders and home in their ongoing series of closed dinners where they seek to explore the complexities within immigration and displacement. Each member intimately invited guests to have a seat at our dinner table to work through these topics. These dinners recreate the space of home and hope to spark conversations that will transcend beyond the dinner table. The dinners will take place every Tuesday of the month of February from 5:30-9pm
